Internal conversion of a Barge
Internal conversion of a Barge Any thoughts I might have had of using the bike were quickly put to bed and if memory serves me well, the bike remained pretty much leant against that tree until I cast off the following Spring. Ducks ice skated around Barge Nilaya and my morning coffee break, sitting on the wheelhouse step, was often filled with hysterical laughter as they slipped and skidded about. Tossing a cream cracker onto the ice created a puck, much like that used in ice hockey. It was of course food though and the ducks knew it only to well, particularly given that there was little else around. To see them all fly after it, from different directions, with no hope of stopping once they landed plus the resultant mass pile ups that seemed to go on for ever while they chased and slid all over the place just had to be seen. Because the biscuit was flat, they couldn't pick it up very easily, so the hilarious antics continued, sometimes for hours! Eventually, vertical take off seagulls pinched the 'ball' from under their noses
