Nilaya's on board garden supplies the galley with virtually all the culinary herbs needed aboard throughout the year. 

Cherry tomatoes, radishes, nasturtiums, chives, rosemary, coriander, mint, spearmint, sage, chervil, basil, tarragon, mesclun mixed salad leaves, mustard and cress all grow in profusion.  

During summer 2007 Nilaya's own troughs provided almost all of the salad leaves consumed aboard.

Nilaya's troughs of hardy red geraniums get carefully stored during the winter months, but in summer provide vivid floral displays that have very much become very much part of the ships identity.
