The sharing of costs by friends old and new makes Nilaya’s continued exploration of the beautiful canals of France, Belgium and Europe possible. She demands constant day-to-day maintenance and provision toward four yearly safety surveys, hull cleaning and painting (which requires lifting Barge Nilaya from the water) together with the insurance, equipment, (ropes, fenders etc.) waterway licenses, expensive 'white' road diesel, food, drinks, mooring, water and electricity fees, that make cruising the canals of France and other European waterways possible.

Full barge charters for 4 persons start from just £1250 per person. 1, 2 or 3 persons can reserve the entire barge by making four contributions.

If you'd like to reserve just one of Nilaya's twin / double cabins start from £1450 per person. Single persons are welcome to reserve a private double cabin by making two contributions. I will hope to find others for the remaining cabin.

Reservation enquiries will be held for seven days. To secure your chosen dates, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is payable at the time of booking with the balance falling due 90 days prior to the start of your cruise. 

It is important that you read and understand Barge Nilaya's terms. They cover in detail what is and isn't included in the above price. Payment of any deposit indicates acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms on behalf of all members of your party.
